Large-span metal structure with high local loads on supports, sensitive to the precision of foundation geometry. The foundation must ensure stability, absence of deformation, and precise column positioning.
Screw piles are driven to load-bearing soil layers, ensuring the transfer of loads from columns and frame structures to stable soil horizons. The absence of excavations and concrete work helps preserve the geometry of the foundation field—which is critically important for the installation of the metal frame of the hangar.
The foundation for a hangar is individually engineered taking into account the structure type, support spacing, wind and snow loads, as well as the actual soil conditions of the site.
The screw foundation allows for the direct integration of piles with the support nodes of the metal structure, enabling hangar installation to begin immediately after the foundation is completed.

For proper foundation design, geotechnical engineering surveys and structural design analysis are performed. This allows for determining the design loads, soil behavior conditions, the depth of load-bearing soil layers, and the geometric requirements of the foundation system.
Based on the obtained data, PILLAR engineers calculate the number of supports, their spacing, and the installation depth. The parameters of the geoscrews are selected considering the loads, structure type, and required geometric stability of the foundation.
Screw piles are installed with control of vertical alignment, torque, and foundation field geometry. Upon completion, the foundation is immediately ready for further structure erection—with no technological downtime or waiting for shrinkage.
