TYPES OF FOUNDATIONS
PILLAR offers two types of foundation solutions for installing solar carports, allowing the structure to be adapted to site conditions, loads, and project requirements.

Reinforced Concrete Foundation
A traditional solution for projects with higher requirements for mass and base stiffness.
Provides high structural stability and is suitable for sites with challenging soil conditions or regulations that require concrete foundations.

Combined Ground Screw Foundation
An engineered solution with minimal use of concrete. Ground screws allow for fast installation, precise geometry, and excellent load resistance, while concrete reinforcement increases the structure’s bearing capacity on problematic soils.
This is an optimal option for rapid implementation, reducing earthworks and lowering overall project costs.

In PILLAR carports, a waterproofing system based on anodized aluminum profiles is used. These profiles are installed in the vertical and horizontal gaps between the PV modules.

The profile forms a sealed channel and integrates with the built-in drainage system, directing rainwater to designated points and preventing it from getting under the structure.

The system is integrated without interfering with the structure of the PV modules.

PILLAR solar carports are equipped with an integrated drainage system that ensures controlled runoff of rainwater and melted snow from the surface of the PV modules.

Depending on project requirements, a galvanized or PVC downpipe is used, installed within the structure and protected from external influences.
The drainage system is fully compatible with the waterproof profiles between the PV modules, forming a unified water protection system in PILLAR carports.

PILLAR solar carports are equipped with mechanical protection elements that enhance operational safety, protect the structure from damage, and ensure clear organization of the parking space.

Protective Bumpers
